There's no finer way to kick start a big night out than with some huge laughs. We'll get you and the girls booked into one of the South Coast's comedy hotspots for some supersized hen party giggles.

The nation is awash with great new comedy talent, most of them using the tried and tested route of comedy clubs to perfect their skills and the UK's biggest names have all worked the comedy circuit on route to stardom;

You'll have reserved seats waiting for you on arrival, making sure you stop off at the bar for a little giggle juice before settling in for the show. Typically the evening will consist of 2-3 guest acts plus the regular host/comedian. Acts vary, with comics coming from across the country. You might well recognise funny faces from TV comedy panel shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, QI and more.

Comedy clubs are also the venues many well-established names use to try out new material ahead of UK tours and it's not unheard for some of the biggest UK comedians to drop by unannounced to give new gags a road test before heading up to the Edinburgh festival.

This is one night where you can be sure all the girls really will be having a laugh, but whatever you do, don't mention you're a hen party, you might find yourself as comedy fodder for freestyling laughter merchants!
