The Botanist

The Botanist is the place to go if you’re after an extraordinary night. Centrally located slap bang on Milsom Street, this bar boasts the full package – out-of-this-world cocktails, energetic live music, talented bartenders and a trendy atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else.
With walk-ins available for food, drinks, and regular happy hours throughout the week, you really can’t go wrong with this one.

Opium is one of our favourite places to grab a drink in Bath and it’s not hard to see why! From its eclectic range of pan-period décor to the delicious cocktails, we could shout about it all day and night. Booking in advance is advisable and you should also give their secret room hire options and cocktail masterclasses a chance as they’re great fun.

When it comes to cocktail bars, this one is a fancy (but far from pretentious) affair and easily has the best service you’ll receive in the city. With everything from the cocktail ingredients down to the very chairs you’ll be sitting on being made or sourced in the South West, this bar is a real gem. Whilst walk-ins are allowed, we recommend booking in advance and maybe even considering private hire as this spot often gets busy.

If you haven’t caught us using the word vibrant so far, it’s because we were saving it for The Common Room! This quirky cocktail bar is perfect if you’re looking for something different than the typical city centre venue. You’ll recognise it by the cool retro-glam décor, welcoming atmosphere, and tempting cocktail menus, so definitely check it out on your night out.
