We decided to compile a list of the best cocktail bars and it took us on an amazing journey which led us to the fabulous Raoul’s in Oxford. Fab cocktails. Fab staff. Fab location. Just an all-round fab experience.

Chambers Cocktail Company – Norwich
The real beast from the east, Chambers Cocktail Company is taking Norwich by storm. They craft their own delicious cocktails which are to die for, and they’ll whip you up a sensational beverage in a flash. Easy on the pocket and easy on the palate, there’s nothing we didn’t like about this fantastic venue.

The Varsity Hotel – Cambridge
Two words: Rooftop terrace. Two more words: Amazing cocktails. A fair few more words: The perfect place to head on a sunny day. You and the girls can relax and unwind as you look out across the glorious Cambridge skyline, cocktail in hand. We came, we saw, we indulged in their delightful drinks and then we very reluctantly departed. One final word: Unmissable.

No messing about with their name, no messing about with their drinks. They know what they’re about and they don’t half deliver. This is a cocktail experience like no other. The concept is this: you bring your favourite boozy bottles and the guys do the rest. With your chosen spirits they’ll craft some of the finest cocktails using the very best accompaniments. But you can’t just rock up whenever you feel like it, you need to reserve your space online to get the password to enter this fab 1920s style speakeasy.
