However, here are some of our favourite homemade cocktail recipes to try for you to try at home.
S’more Martini
Ingredients
- 50 ml marshmallow vodka
- 25 ml chocolate liqueur
- 25 ml cream or half and half
- Crushed Graham crackers
- Chocolate syrup
- Marshmallows
Instructions
- Rim the edge of a martini glass with chocolate syrup and then dip it in crushed graham crackers to coat.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the marshmallow vodka, chocolate liqueur, and cream.
- Shake well until everything is mixed and chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared martini glass.
- Garnish with a marshmallow (you can toast it over a flame for an extra touch) and serve.
Blushing Bride-to-be Bellini
Ingredients
- 25 ml Peach Schnapps
- 100 ml Prosecco or Champagne
- 25 ml Grenadine Syrup
- Fresh peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the peach schnapps and grenadine syrup into a champagne flute.
- Slowly top up with Prosecco or Champagne, stirring gently to mix.
- Garnish with a fresh peach slice if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Hanky Panky Hibiscus Cooler
Ingredients
- 50 ml dry gin
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- 50 ml agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea)
- 2 dashes of Fernet-Branca (if available)
- 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- Sugar or agave to taste
- Sparkling water to top up
Instructions
- First, make the hibiscus tea. In a pot, bring the water to a boil with the hibiscus flowers, cinnamon stick, and star anise. Let it boil for 10 minutes, then strain and cool. Sweeten to taste with sugar or agave.
- In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine the gin, sweet vermouth, 50 ml of the hibiscus tea, and the Fernet-Branca. Stir well.
- Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Top up with sparkling water, stir gently to mix, and serve.
Giddy Groom Chaser
Ingredients
- 30 ml spiced dark rum
- Moonshine cherries
- Coke Zero
- 25 ml Curaçao
- 25 ml Grand Marnier (or any cognac of choice)
- 25 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml grenadine
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the Curaçao, Grand Marnier, lemon juice, and grenadine. Shake well.
- Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in the spiced dark rum.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
- Top up with Coke Zero.
- Garnish with a moonshine cherry.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Naughty Nuptial Negroni
Ingredients
- 30 ml gin
- 30 ml Campari
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- 15 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1-2 dashes of bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, orange juice, and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with an orange peel twist.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
