Iced of Garstang
With a fantastic understanding of colour and proportion, Iced of Garstang really caught our eye this year, the flower pouring teapot cake was a particular standout piece, not just for the sugar work and form, but the many finer details. If you are lucky enough to procure their services, you’re guaranteed something a little bit special.
Emma Lou Cakes
A bake team always sure to make us smile, master designer Emma Lou and her sister Melissa have become a cake baking constant on our Top 50 and once again appear to have raised the bar this year. Cakes that tell stories, cakes that seem to whisper secrets, romance, style and incredible flavours, once again they have proven they’re one of the hottest design teams of the year and we have Instagram on high alert to see where they go next.

Pink Frosting Company
If you believe the cake should be a statement piece at the centre of your wedding feast, then Pink Frosting is the natural choice. These are big, bold and quite simply breath-taking statement pieces. Kelly and her team create cakes with serious ‘wow-factor’ that has seen them become much in demand across not just the North West but London and across the UK.
Centre Attraction
With over 40 years’ experience and a celebrity client list (if it’s good enough for Colleen Rooney…), Peter Roberts takes cake design to new heights. Quite literally. Peter creates cakes to order, designing and building them himself such as the giant Cinderella carriage and horses, even an 8ft model of the church, complete with guests! Possibly mad, undoubtedly genius.

Deeply romantic, cakes of beauty, that’s how we would best describe the work of Liam and his exceptional team at Create A Cake. Creating cakes and designs that most bakers wouldn’t dare attempt is what has built their reputation and won them so many thankful and happy brides and groom. A very worthy entry to this year’s Top 50.
