V-Reg Vegan Diner – Manchester
An honest to goodness, actual diner. The real deal, dripping with cheese, festooned with fries, we’d like to tell you how healthy it all is at this point but frankly, don’t know, don’t care. It tastes sooooo good. Burgers, mac n cheez, cocktails, loaded fries, hot dogs and puddings you’d sell your granny for! You can even grab a lunch for £5: the perfect Friday treat.

The Allotment – Manchester
Vegan food has never looked so good. The Allotment takes healthy, organic, locally sourced ingredients and creates edible masterpieces. This is a masterclass on just what can be achieved with humble ingredients when in the hands of true magicians. Anyone who thinks a vegan diet is boring has clearly never been to The Allotment.

Zad’s – Manchester
It’s all about the base… and the topping actually. It’s also about changing perceptions. This is fast food for ethically minded folk. Responsibly sourced ingredients and a commitment to lessen the impact on the environment are both good, but if we’re honest, the pizza is much, much better. Off the chart delish! And then they do cupcakes too!!

The Caledonia – Liverpool
It’s a dream pub! Live bands, mini food festivals, a community book share scheme and vegan junk food! Yes, they could go all gastro-pub but meh… why? When food is this good it shouldn’t be messed with. Burgers, wings, dogs, sides, desserts all 100% plant-based and packed with flavour, served in a friendly, funky setting.

But if you are going out then get yourself along to their amazing diner. We suggest making it a weekend, their Sunday Roast is an absolute belter! They also run workshops on vegan cookery. From their exclusively plant-based eatery, The Green Room are doing their bit to change perceptions of vegan food. And they ‘bring it!’. Wraps, pies, burgers, soups, salads, calzones, bursting with flavour, full of goodness and so much better for the environment and our waistlines. Except for the fact we keep wanting to go back!
