Laura Loukaides Cakes
We’re not even sure we should refer to Laura Loukaides creations as ‘cakes’, her mini sculptures are pure works of art. If you’re looking for something a little bit different from the usual tower of tiered royal icing, then Laura’s cakes are just the ticket… or cute puppies, or a delicious juicy burger (all made of cake!!). If you’re a fan of all things cakey then head to her YouTube channel and prepare to be amazed!

Karen’s Cakes
One look at Karen’s work and we weren’t sure what to grab first, our camera’s or our tasting forks. Sadly these are wedding cakes so apparently you’re not allowed to ‘just have a little nibble’ no matter how much you beg. However what you can do is admire her stunning flower work and impeccable lines. Her showstoppers are spectacular but it’s her semi-naked buttercreamed collection that almost made us want to grab ‘the bloke’ and set a date.

Melissa Woodland Cakes
Whatever your cake-based leanings, Melissa Woodland has it covered, whether you’re all about texture and rich decadent flavours or simple, elegant lines or maybe all out “LOOK AT ME!” grandeur, her statement cakes are a thing of beauty and just as delicious. This award-winning cake designer is once again a welcome inclusion in this year’s Top 50.
Little Boutique Bakery
It takes quite an artist to create something so spectacular with such a soft palette of colours but such is the genius of Jennie and her team at Little Boutique Bakery. Her eye-catching designs have graced the pages of top wedding magazines and websites and also graced the banqueting tables of Claridges, the Mandarin Hotel and Hever Castle. Her incredible cakes have even been flown out to Dubai. Simply stunning cakes in every way.
