Whatās the most innovative idea youāve seen at a wedding?
There is a growing trend for alternative and quirky wedding venues, for example I recently set a nautical-themed wedding at a local Royal Navy museum. Venues with plenty of outdoor space for entertaining are especially popular, and good music and entertainment are a must in my book. It is, after all, a celebration. I particularly love to see wedding venues dressed and accessorised to accentuate the strengths of the interior and exterior as well as expressing a coupleās individuality and making it a day to remember for everyone.
Whatās the best themed wedding youāve ever been involved with?
I helped with a Mexican themed wedding in the summer but it wasn’t over the top. The bride and groom kept it simple and incorporated brightly coloured chair ribbons, paper lanterns and pom poms with a very yummy Mexican buffet for their marquee wedding reception. They even hung a piƱata hung from a nearby tree!
