Getting around York
This city is absolutely beautiful and because our York hen hotels are in the heart of the city, it's likely that you'll get everywhere you need to be on foot. Most of the city is pedestrianised too, so there' no need to splash out on cabs. It's easy to walk from one side of the city to the other in just 20 minutes, so unless any of your hens have trouble walking (not counting after a few cocktails) you'll be able to see everything you want to with ease. It's really not recommended to bring your car to York, as the roads are narrow and a little confusing, so your best bet is to cycle. However, if you really are struggling or strapped on an inappropriately high pair of heels that morning, taxis are available around the city too.
